(Geneva - May 15, 2008) On the eve of the 61st World Health Assembly, patient representatives from around the world gathered in Geneva to voice their concerns and provide recommendations on the WHO’s proposed strategy and draft plan of action on public health, innovation and intellectual property.

Patient Declaration on Medical Innovation

Over 100 patients and advocates from more than 20 countries around the world have signed a patient declaration to support medical innovation, improved access to treatments and ensure patient involvement in ongoing discussions held by the WHO. More patient groups continue to add their support.
