Patients speak out on global health and innovation

(Geneva - May 15, 2008) On the eve of the 61st World Health Assembly, patient representatives from around the world gathered in Geneva to voice their concerns and provide recommendations on the WHO’s proposed strategy and draft plan of action on public health, innovation and intellectual property.

Declaración de pacientes sobre innovación médica

El 22 de octubre (2007), 17 grupos de pacientes panamericanos firmaron la siguiente declaración de pacientes, la cual fue presentada a la reunión de la OPS que se estaba celebrando en Ottawa en esa fecha. A partir de entonces, otros grupos de pacientes se han sumado en apoyo a la declaración.
